There is now a new version of the Windows 95/NT GUI & hidden client
available! This version is numbered v2b2s2 (version 2 build 2 subrelease
2).
In this version, specific optimizations are available for the following
processors:
- 386/Pentium
- 486
- Pentium Pro/Pentium II
- Cyrix/IBM 6x86
- AMD K5/K6
Additionally, fetch and flush commands can now be invoked while the client
is running by un-minimizing the client and selecting the options from the
system menu in left corner of the client's window. The problem with the
client sometimes not automatically reporting in blocks in it buff-out file
when the client was set to auto launch has been resolved. Minor changes to
the http networking have also been done. A few other minor internal
details were changed.
If you have already installed the previous version and are running it
hidden, you can use the supplied GUICNTRL.EXE program to uninstall and
terminate the old version.
