[rc5-announce] New RC5 Top-Level KeyProxies

We're proud to announce that due to our ever increasing speed, we are
deciding it necessary to establish additional servers so that we can reduce
the traffic concentrated on any single server.

A few new U.S. proxies have been added to the main rc5proxy.distributed.net
alias, including bruteforce.st.hmc.edu and rc5proxy.wwiv.org and
rc5unix.wwiv.org (note the distinction between rc5proxy and rc5unix in this
case refers to the platform that the proxy is running on, and should have
no impact upon actual client access).

Additionally, we've established a new rc5asiaproxy.distributed.net alias
and will be working to put additional servers on-line as it becomes
feasible.

It should perhaps be interesting to point out that significant
modifications to the networking protocol between the full proxies and the
keymaster have also been done over the last couple of weeks in order to
increase the efficiency and performance of the hand shaking and block
acknowledgment that is done. With these new changes, we've been able to
verify that we can accommodate key traffic rates several times greater than
our current rate without problems.

So.. Keep those machines running and recruit more of your friends!
