[Hardware] Problem with Client on an IBM iSeries in PASE Mode

Hi

I don't know if this will help, however I found that under Irix 6.5.18
(possibly others) that if the distributed.net executable was started by
root (from /etc/inittab in my case) that no work was done by the client,
despite it remaining loaded in memory. However if I ran the client under
a user account it ran quite normally. I assumed that this was due to
Irix trying to protect the system from what it viewed as a run-away
process but I have never verified this.

Regards

Christian
