[RC5-PROXYPER] proxy not flushing its buffers (and not receivng new keys)

Hmm, works fine here.

$ killall -HUP rc5desproxyper

causes the following to appear in the log file:

[09/06/98 06:18:27 GMT] Configuration file (./rc5desproxyper.ini) reloaded!
[09/06/98 06:18:27 GMT] *Flush*  Initiating manual flush/fetch.
[09/06/98 06:18:27 GMT] Server 2 added to slot 2 ip port 2064
[09/06/98 06:18:28 GMT] The proxy says: DES-II-2 OVER. http://www.distributed.net/des/


$ kill -HUP <pid of rc5desproxyper>

works as well.
