[PROXYPER] statically linked proxy, grrr.

 When will there be a dynamically linked v313 proxy for x86 Linux, GNU libc
2.1?  Running a statically linked daemon feels ugly, even though it doesn't
make that much difference on a machine with 128MB or RAM...  Oh well, I
still think it sucks.  There is a bit of a hit since the static binary
effectively gives the daemon a bigger cache footprint.  This is quite likely
minimal, though, especially since the proxy is just listen(2)'ing most of
the time.

 Is the proxy statically linked because of previous problems with libraries?
