[PROXYPER] Personal Proxy for OS/2 build 313

Build 308 did not want connect to a keyserver at all and now that I
upgraded to build 313 the personal proxy tries to connect all the time.
I want to know if this is a bug or have I mis-configured some
parameter? This has the nasty effect that the log is getting quite big
and seems produce unnecessary net traffic (both to my dial-up link and
to distributed.net fullproxy). This seems to happen every night
althought 23. Feb it did not happen..

BTW, I wonder if the build 308 bug where perproxy tried to fetch zero
more blocks over and over (until connection was dropped) when there was
exactly the amount of ready blocks we wanted (r=100/100)?

The personal proxy is running under a OS/2 Warp Connect with a FixPak
40. TCP/IP is at version 3.07a. I use the ppp program that came with
the OS/2 to automatically establish a modem based dialup connection to
my ISP every night.

First here are parts from my configuration file:

--!--
[KeyServer]
ipaddress=euro.v27.distributed.net
port=2064
connectperiod=600
connectivity=lurkonly
....
[rc564]
....
minkeysready=50
maxkeysready=100
maxbufferdays=4
minkeysdone=1
maxkeysdone=10

[desII]
....
minkeysready=0
maxkeysready=0
maxbufferdays=0
minkeysdone=1
maxkeysdone=10
contestclosed=1

[ogr]
....
minkeysready=0
maxkeysready=0
maxbufferdays=0
minkeysdone=1
maxkeysdone=10
contestclosed=1

[csc]
....
minkeysready=0
maxkeysready=0
maxbufferdays=0
minkeysdone=1
maxkeysdone=10
contestclosed=1
....
--!--

I wonder, could the zeros in des, ogr and csc contest keys confuse the
personal proxy? Should they be negative (-1) if I don't want any blocks
fetched for them, ever? Documentation does not say how to disable a
contest manually.

And now entries from the time my dialup connection is being created:

Could it be perproxy tries to connect before a connection is really up?
The "04:00:53,Connection lost and will not be re-initiated." message is
especially interesting here..

Also, what message file the personal proxy (or it's C library) does not
find and where it should be?

The log continues:

And that's it. Next log entry is when a client connects to proxy. It
seems the personal proxy creates the uplink unnecessary. Here the
r=100/100 might be the problem but yesterday it happened with r=102/100
so it might not be the reason. Could it be the proxy does not check if
it needs a uplink connection but always creates if if there is a dialup
connection is lurkonly mode?

One last unnerelated note. The des, ogr and csc contest are closed but
the personal proxy displayes they're status all the time. It would be
better if status for closes (and disabled) contest would NOT be shown
as they are unnecessary.
