[rc5] Glitch in linux v2.2 client

For the first time I saw a failure in the linux v2.2 client. Here's the
screen shot(no log or core dump available):

This was running in a rxvt window and as you can see, the command
prompt returned. Upon restart, all worked fine. The parallel
-update process was not affected as it was sleeping at the time.
The buffers seem intact; that is, upon restarting, both the cracker
and -updater behaved normally, except for the missing block.
I don't have any idea as to what caused it. The rest of the system is
fine. Maybe a stray cosmic ray? I dunno.
