There is a REXX version of a Cron program availalbe.  I believe it's call
Cronrgf.  It comes with a PM editor.  Write yourself a short script to run
-flush -fetch once a day, or whenever, and just let in-joy dial in.
Buffer 50 blocks, and you can have multiple machines on the same net
sharing this connection...
