[rc5] Win32 client crash

	This is a crash of minor importance. What happened is this.
	The buffers and log files are stored on a Unix box (SunOS 4.1.3)
and are exported via Samba (1.9.16pl9). At some time yesterday the SunOS
box got awry most probably because of the ethernet connection. Just at
that time the Win32 client finished a block, tried to save it and crashed.

	So it's relatively minor sine the crash was caused by an abnormal
condition but still this could probably be avoided. It's probably just the
result of some function which is not checked. I remember that the TimC
client dealt with similar situations very nicely and saved the file later.
