Aehm, I don't know why, but the speed fell after the first two blocks:

                        206.781 seconds. [1298161.57 keys/sec]
                        198.651 seconds. [1351290.41 keys/sec]
                        664.921 seconds. [403710.60 keys/sec]
                        662.457 seconds. [405212.13 keys/sec]
                        655.983 seconds. [409210.75 keys/sec]
                        660.766 seconds. [406248.85 keys/sec]
                        661.580 seconds. [405748.84 keys/sec]
                        657.457 seconds. [408293.54 keys/sec]

And seems to be stable at 405.000 blocks (still, a 65% increase instead of
the 20% mentioned for intel binaries earlier on).

Anyone got any ideas why the first blocks went by so quickly?

  Benedikt
