[rc5] SUN Ultra 30

The MT does, indeed, launch multiple threads. I have tried to set this
number of threads to 8, but it keeps falling back to 4. I see that some of
the other platform clients support up to 16 threads. Is there a way to over
ride this setting to force it to use all 8 of the CPUs in the machine? TIA!
