It's simpler to use the following script:

rc564 -update -in buff-in.1 -out buff-out.1
rc564 -update -in buff-in.2 -out buff-out.2
rc564 -update -in buff-in.3 -out buff-out.3
rc564 -update -in buff-in.4 -out buff-out.4
rc564 -update -in buff-in.5 -out buff-out.5
rc564 -runbuffers -in buff-in.1 -out buff-out.1
rc564 -runbuffers -in buff-in.2 -out buff-out.2
rc564 -runbuffers -in buff-in.3 -out buff-out.3
rc564 -runbuffers -in buff-in.4 -out buff-out.4
rc564 -runbuffers -in buff-in.5 -out buff-out.5

I haven't tested it, but I think it should work.. :)
It can of course be expanded to use more than five files if 1000
blocks aren't enough.. :)
