Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to set something like this up, as
the applet is loaded from my ISP's server, and I don't have any way to run cgi
programs on their server (Java applets can only talk to the server from which
they were loaded).

Now, if distributed.net were to modify the applet so it does a small chunk of
a real block and return the results to *their* server, that would be
something.
