How about "so little assholes who want to stop one group who's doing really
well from succeeding can't write a bomber program that simply reports ALL
of the blocks as being checked, with IP's spoffed to appear as if they came
from a proxy?"

Its not your concern.  Nor mine.   Source code is unimportant.  Binaries
will be assimilated.
