[rc5] client option

     checkpointfile=NUL:
     checkpointfile=/dev/nul
     checkpointfile=""
     
     Any of these (or a platform specific variant of the first two) do the 
     trick?

Looks like they are related.
     
RC5-64 Client v2.6401 started.  Using 
daniel.carter at stonebow.otago.ac.nz as email address.

I noticed the config file had
checkpointfile=" "
 i changed it to just
checkpointfile=
but those errors still appear
