Hard code the CPU selection. A prior version always selected the wrong 
CPU on my PPro. Hardcoding the right one in -config was good for 50k 
keys/sec.

PPro166/512k overclocked to 200 (ran it for 30 mintues at 233 before I 
chickened out, rock solid the past 23 days at 200):
