Everyone
Over the weekend my Pentium 133 "completed" in excess of 8,100 DES
blocks. It doesn't take a maths genius to figure that something is
wrong with this number.

It appears that over the weekend the network here went down, and that
co-incidentally the buff-in.des was exhausted during this period.

I *THINK* the client then went into some kind of spin, generating its
own blocks and instantly marking them as checked. As soon as the
network came up again it appears to have sent these blocks to the
server.

As the stats for me presently do not show a high number of completed
blocks, I hope the proxy server that received the 8K blocks saw that
they were dud and discarded them.

In any case this could cause problems for other list members who use
"sneakernet" to run machines in an offline mode.

Thanks
Glen
