This may cause resource starvation and even deadlock in its current
form. Not really but theoretically - when the ide priority process grabs
some resource aga is preempted by some higher priority process which
needs this resource. There is a theoretical deadlock possibility and the
patch is not going in before it's clean of such potential problems.
