Pccomputing had a little blurb in it about the weaknesses of DES saying,
"The bad news: The Electronic Frontier Foundation has broken 56-bit
Data Encryption Standard (DES) keys in less than 24 hour." Even after
the numerous corrections we've made magazines are still giving credit to
the EFF. The Blurb was written by Christopher Null, and can probably be
contacted from their web site, www.pccomputing.com
