Try adding "start /wait" to this line so that the script will wait for the 
shutdown command to finish.

and/or

Instead of using -quiet, try using dnetc.com -shutdown.  This will 
prevent the GUI elements from popping up (it's the text wrapper for 
dnetc.exe).
