Looks a bit odd to me but...

"C:\Program Files\DNET\DNETC.EXE" -shutdown -quiet
"C:\Program Files\DNET\DNETC.EXE" -shutdown -quiet
XCOPY \\server\share\filestocopy "C:\Program Files\DNET" /s
ECHO "Ver 2.8007.458" >>%windir%\28007458.VER
"C:\Program Files\DNET\DNETC.EXE" -install -quiet
"C:\Program Files\DNET\DNETC.EXE" -hide

Let me know if it works for you...

It's a beautiful warm spring day and a man and his wife
are at the zoo. She's wearing a cute, loose-fitting, pink
spring dress, sleeveless with straps. As they walk through
the ape exhibit and pass in front of a very large gorilla, the
gorilla goes ape. He jumps up on the bars, holding on with
one hand (and both feet), grunting and pounding his chest
with the free hand. The sight of the pretty lady in the wavy
dress has obviously excited him.
The husband, noticing the gorilla's excitement, suggests that
his wife tease the poor fellow. The husband suggests she
pucker her lips, wiggle her bottom and play along. She does
so, which gets our gorilla even more excited. The beast
makes noises that could wake the dead.
Then the husband suggests that she let one of her straps fall.
She does, and it looks like Mr. Gorilla will tear the bars down.
"Now try lifting your dress up your thighs," the helpful husband
says. The gorilla goes absolutely crazy.
Then, quickly, the husband grabs his wife, rips open the door
to the cage, slings her in with the gorilla and says, "Now, tell
HIM you have a headache."

Subject: [RC5] Help please with DNETC.EXE -switches

I'm having trouble with a logon script for NT trying to auto update Win95
clients with the 2.8007-458 client.

basically it goes like this

C:\"Program Files"\DNET\DNETC.EXE -shutdown -quiet
XCOPY \\server\share\filestocopy C:\"Program Files"\DNET /s
ECHO Ver 2.8007.458>>%windir%\28007458.VER
C:\"Program Files"\DNET\DNETC.EXE -install -quiet
C:\"Program Files"\DNET\DNETC.EXE -hide

The problem is that using the -shutdown or the -uninstall switch in
combination with the -quiet switch doesn't appear to shut down the client
properly as xcopy fails with a file open message. If I take out the -quiet
switch and respond to the dialogue boxes as they pop up it works hunky dory.
