No it wouldn't! If you've been participating since the beginning (just over
4 years) your overall keyrate is pretty certain to be lower than your daily
keyrate (megaflushes or not) as cpu-power has doubled 2.67 times over
the last 4 years (Moore's law 4*12/18 = 2.66...).

Another fact is that many high-crunching members have instead of upgrading,
acquired another system and is running the dnetc on that system aswell
as the original system.

These people will be severly held back by the fact that they've been 
contributing
regularly for a long time...

given your system, the workaround would be to change the dnet-id every
time you do a megaflush and thus increasing the problems on another level...
flooding the tables with inactive users....
