I was talking about Intel.  I thought (through readings elsewhere) that you
lost approximately 7.5% Mhz due to inefficiency on Intel and about 5% using
Athlon.

I can't remember where I read it though so I can't post a URL.

Due to inefficiency? I thought the problem was more acute using Intel
processors since they share a common bus whereas the Athlons have
a point to point bus.
