[RC5] Cycles per key

I don't know about you, but I am hoping that this time we don't have to
process the entire keyspace before finding the key. We've done that
twice now :)

Probably the number of cycles per key is almost the same. The only
problem
is that RC5-72 has 256 as many keys as RC5-64, so it will take a lot
longer.
At maximum speed, it would take us now about 1000 days to check the
entire
rc5-64 keyspace. To do the complete RC5-72 keyspace it will take 256000
at
the present speed.
If the RC5 computing power increases 50 percent each year it will take
almost 15 years to do the entire keyspace (and almost 13 to do half of
the
keyspace). If RC5 speed doubles each year (optimist?), it will take
almost
10 years to check the entire keyspace. That's quite a long time.

Kind regards,
Harry

Hi

Just curios, how many cycles does it cost to process one RC5-64 key?
And how much for a RC5-72 key on the moment?
