Waldo,

I'm not sure if all the components I used are directly portable to 
Kylix, but it is an intriguing idea.  I have done a lot of UNIX 
programming, back in the day (before there was a Linux), but no Linux 
programming per se. That might be a fun porting project and an 
interesting introduction to Linux.
